OUTREACH

Holy Cross offers numerous opportunities to serve the local and wider community. Since its first beginnings, meeting in the homes of parishioners, Holy Cross committed to use 10% of its previous year's income for outreach -- a commitment Holy Cross continues from its permanent home on Myrtle Grove Road. Holy Cross also uses its time and talents within the community.

Community Care

Holy Cross is aware that our Community is comprised of many people, those who have the ability to give today and those who will, with just a little help be able to give to others tomorrow. It is through giving that we receive the blessing of inner peace. It is through giving that others receive the blessing of knowing someone cares.

Little Library

Have you seen the little library! Dive into a world of stories and share the joy of reading. Everyone is invited to borrow a book or contribute to our growing collection.

Take a moment to look inside the Little Library and assess what is there for you. Think about a book that has meant a lot to you. A cook book, "who dunnit", how to build it, gardening?  Can you share that book? Or would you get a copy of the book to share? Just keep in mind, we have all ages looking for books to read and make it wholesome and happy..

Happy reading!

LifeCare Hospice Center

Each month Holy Cross members prepare and deliver a lunch to Life Care Hospice Families for the family members gathered with their loved ones. This allows them more free time to devote to the care of those in hospice. Below is a note of thanks to those who have participated.

"Thank you to all Holy Crossers who signed up to bring food to the Hospice care center. Our food offerings are fully committed through April! The link to the sign up sheet will remain here as a reminder should you need it."
